Dr.Mahdi Jamshidi received his Bachelor degree (2011) in Chemistry from Bahonar University of Kerman and Master’s degree (2013) in Physical Chemistry from University of K. N. Toosi under the supervision of Prof. Majid Jafarian, working on inhibitory effect of organic and inorganic compounds on aluminum corrosion. During his PhD studies (2013–2018), Mahdi worked on electrochemical synthesis of new organic compounds based on oxidation of p-aminoaniline substrates under the guidance of Prof. Davood Nematollahi (University of Bu-Ali Sina). He joined the Hilt research group as a scientific staff member at Oldenburg University in 2022 and has focused on developing electrochemical methodologies for enantioselective functionalization of unsaturated compounds.
