Academic Program

The first part of our conference will take place at the historical Peter Friedrich Ludwigs Hospital (Peterstraße 3) near the city center. Build between 1838 and 1841 the PFL has turned from hospital into Oldenburg’s cultural centre that accomodates the city library, the inForum and the center for environmental education.

The main part of the annual meeting wil take place on campus in the Hörsaalzentrum (building A14).

Our closing ceremony will take place at the Aula in building A11 after which we will move down the hallway to the  Kammermusiksaal where we will finish our meeting with food, music and karaoke!

Social Program

We’re thrilled to invite everyone to our club party with DJ Diana Suarez (Los Angeles, CA) at Oldenburg’s Club Polyester on Thursday evening!

Please also join us for the Closing Party on Saturday evening at the “Kammermusiksaal,” which will commence at 8 pm.

Lunch and Dinner

During out meeting we will serve coffee, tea, cold drinks and snacks at the foyer in the mornings and afternoons.

For lunch and dinner, there are several opportunities around campus with different cuisines. We can always recommend our local Mensa (open Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM - 2:15 PM) where you can choose between a variety of dishes covering many dietary needs and restrictions. On Saturday we will provide a foodtruck right next to A14, where you can enjoy delicious burgers and side dishes (including vegetarian and vegan options).
