Beschreibung
This class deals with the interpretation of different pronominal elements as well as related grammatical constraints and the impact of discourse. Insights into the influential Binding Theory and cross-linguistic differences in relation with the interpretation of pronouns will be provided. In addition, we will look at the acquisition of pronouns in different populations (typical and atypical L1 acquisition and L2 acquisition) and its implications for linguistic theory. The impact of cross-linguistic differences in L2 acquisition as well as L1 attrition will be of particular interest.
