Sometimes asking all the students to participate in class can be difficult to manage. However, there are quiz tools that could didactically incorporate basic student interaction into the class, check students’ understanding on the topic explained during the lecture in a simple way and involve them in peer instruction strategies. For that purpose, teachers can use the Cliqr tool within their courses on Stud.IP. In only some steps, teachers can design questions and possible answers related to the content of the lecture and ask the students to answer them directly with technological devices.

In this workshop, the participants will learn how to create meaningful questions for a quiz, see different examples for diverse knowledge fields and use Cliqr to enhance students’ interactive participation –individually and in peers- and to ensure their basic understanding of the main ideas of the lecture.
