Beschreibung

workshop for the EMMIR programme (in addition to the conference Queering Migration)

Outline
The workshop offers an introduction to the question how aspects of Queer Theory can be made useful for empirical research methods. Any EMMIR student may participate – whether they have previous knowledge
on LSBTI/Q lifestyles or Queer Theory or not. The workshop is based on several chapters from the book “Queer Methods and Methodologies – Intersecting Queer Theories and Social Science Research” edited by Kath Browne and Catherine J. Nash.
Please read the introduction and chapter 6 for the first meeting and chapters 10 and 13 for the second meeting.
