Re-registration – continue studying!

For continuing your studies the semester contribution has to be paid every semester within the period prescribed. Enrolled students who want to continue their studies in the following semester must re-registrate during the following periods:

  • July 1 to July 31 for the following winter semester
  • January 15 to February 15 for the following summer semester

Re-registering takes place by the transfer of the current semester contribution to the following account in due time:

Crucial for the transfer in due time is the ordering date at your bank. This has to be proved on demand. 

Payment reminder and deregistration

Basically you are responsible for ensuring your re-registration! 

Unfortunately it is not possible, to allow a delay of payment. Information and advice on financing your studies is available from the Student Service Organisation (Studentenwerk).

According to the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony § 19 sub-para.6, sentence 3 the following rules are obligatory:  

If you do not re-registrate within the period prescribed or do not transfer the complete semester contribution including all mentioned fees, you will be deregistered.

 

Note

Fees for professional development programmes and fee-based degree programmes must be paid separately to the faculty directly.
