Die Vorlesung „International Economics“ behandelt folgende Themenbereiche:
Globalisierung
internationaler Handel, inter- und intrasektoral
transnationale Produktion und Faktorbewegungen
Zahlungsbilanz und Wechselkurse
makroökonomische Modellierung offener Volkswirtschaften
wirtschaftliche Unterentwicklung und Strategien nachhaltiger Entwicklung
Die Grundmodelle werden verbal, algebraisch und grafisch dargestellt und anhand von Beispielen und Fallstudien veranschaulicht.
