Objectives of the conference
The conference aims at introducing different job perspectives in marine sciences in their widest sense. This may include jobs in industry as well as in administration, consulting or journalism. With regards to content, the programme will be developed by the (potential) participants of the workshop: YOU! The ICBM PhD career path - organisation team 2017.
Structure of the workshop:
20 min lectures by the professionals followed by 10 min for questions and discussion
The professionals will be asked to speak about their job and about the career steps they took to get this position.
Further time for discussion will be given during the coffee and lunch breaks.
Target group for conference and as organisers:
PhD students and early Postdocs in marine sciences; Master students and other interested people are welcome to attend.
The workshop will be organised by the following graduate programmes
PhD study Programme Environmental Sciences and Biodiversity, SFB Roseobacter and the RTG EcoMol
