In April of 2003, our school II was created through a fusion of the subject areas of Computing Science, Business Administration, Economics and Law, as well as Economics Education and Technical Education. Today, the school is distinguished by the clear and independent profile provided by the Department of Computing Science and the Department of Business Administration and Law. This is illustrated in the field of academics by:
- innovative and cross regionally attractive study opportunities combined with a highly service orientated advisory role. The school offers a series of bachelor’s and master’s programs that distinguish themselves through their modern teaching and learning concepts. More information can be found under ‘Academics and Teaching’.
And in the research field by:
- clearly profiled research focal points with national and international dimensions, as also reflected in the SFB Graduate School, in the Special Research Area (SFB), in the scientific centres, and the faculty’s associated institutes. An active program for securing external funding also compliments the school, as does the engaged promotion of young academics in the scholarly field. We have more information waiting for you under the heading ‘Research’.
