Research interests

The aim of my PhD project is to investigate the effect of cross-modal reorganization following restoration of auditory input in Cochlear Implant (CI) users. To better understand the visual information processing of CI users the cognitive and neural responses to high-level stimuli like faces will be examined. Furthermore the effects of auditory restoration on non-linguistic face-voice integration should be investigated. The findings will be associated with the clinical outcome of the CI users.
The project is funded by the GIF – German Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development (http://www.gif.org.il/pages/board-decisions-2013.aspx)
