Peer Coaching Program for Postdocs, Assistant Professors, and newly appointed professors
Our new coaching programs for postdocs, assistant professors, and newly appointed professors took place for the first time from February to June 2016 and were successfully repeated in 2017. With the help of these programs, the Graduate Academy seeks to address the specific requirements of different career phases after the doctoral degree, and to support postdocs and young professors at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in the best way possible.

- Program 1 is aimed at postdocs with a maximum of 3 years experience after the doctoral degree. The focus of the coaching and the accompanying workshops is on the planning and development of careers within and outside academia.
- Program 2 is aimed at experienced postdocs (at least 3 years of experience after the doctoral degree), assistant professors, and newly appointed professors. In this program the focus is on expertise in managing and supervising.
Both programs are designed as peer coachings, which means that the individual coaching groups meet independently every four weeks in addition to the thematic workshops. We hope that the programs will enhance networking and exchange between early career academics at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.
Each program provides for a maximum of 12 participants, and the programs may only be booked completely, which means that attendance at all appointed workshops is expected.
