Malte Bartenwerfer studied physics at the University of Oldenburg. His major fields of study were optical measurement and microrobotics. He worked on nanoindentation and wrote his diploma thesis about mechanical and electrical characterization of carbon nanotubes.
Since January 2009 he is employed as research associate at the Division Microrobotics and Control Engineering at the University of Oldenburg. His field of research is the application and handling of carbon nanotubes.
