Master of Distance Education and E-Learning

Demand for qualified professionals of distance education and e-learning is on the rise, both in the public and private sectors. The Master of Distance Education and E-Learning (MDE), offered through a cooperation between Oldenburg University and the University of Maryland University College (UMUC), provides you with the comprehensive and practical knowledge that you will need to lead and manage distance education enterprises within educational, business, government, and non-profit organizations.

Qualifications

With the MDE, you will gain the qualifications necessary for managing and leading distance education and e-learning projects within your current or a future organization. The program provides you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to apply within your everyday work environment, specially focusing on areas such as organizational and management processes, leadership and change management, information technology, and business development, strategic action planning, problem solving, ethics, and social responsibility.
