Studies & Teaching

Studies and Teaching

The Institute of Sport Science offers a Bachelor programme (Dual-Subject Bachelor) for a teaching-based choice or that can qualify for an extracurricular professional field. This course of study is designed for six semesters and offers participants the possibility to connect a master's degree or to enter directly into the labour market.

The Master´s degree programme (Master of Education) is offered for a teaching career in primary, elementary and secondary school, high school as well as in economics and special needs education. The course lasts two semesters (primary, elementary and secondary school) or four semesters (grammar school, economics and special needs education).

In addition to a teacher career, students can study - after completing their bachelor - a Master of Arts programme with the profile "Sports and Lifestyle" (professional master). The course lasts four semesters.

The study programmes of Sport Science are accredited for a period of five years. You can get further information on the Faculty IV (German) website.
