Graduate School 'Science, Medicine and Technology' OLTECH

How to apply to a PhD Study Programme

1. Supervisor

Find yourself an academic supervisor for your doctoral research project and - in case you don't have a job position - a stipend to finance your PhD study.

2. PhD study programme at the Graduate School OLTECH

To apply for one of the Phd study programmes of the Graduate School OLTECH, please fill in the application form of the Graduate School and bring it with your original certificates to the OLTECH office.

3. Admission as a doctoral candidate in the faculty

An admission in the Graduate School requires also the admission as a doctoral candidate. If you are not yet admitted as a doctoral candidate at the faculty II, V or VI (s. information about the doctorate committee of the faculty V), please fill in the application form of the PhD board of the faculty.

4.  Matriculation as a PhD student at the university

For doctorate students of the CvO University, a matriculation in your PhD subject (e.g. Biology, Physics, ...) is required. For the enrolment at the university please use the Online Registration.

The matriculation in the PhD study programme (e.g. Neurosensory Science and Systems) follows after the admission to it.

An application is possible all over the year. Please come personally with your application documents to our office, if possible.
